By: Cigars & Leisure | 2/12/2021

The newest value cigar, Havana Q has hit the shelves. This new cigar by J.C. Newman comes in a variety of different ring gauges to cater to the modern cigar smoker’s varied preferences. It is offered in a vacuum-sealed humidor-bag, making it easily storable and merchandised within brick and mortar locations and more available to cigar smokers everywhere.

Havana Q is rolled at the J.C. Newman PESNA factory located in Estelí, Nicaragua. Havana Q consists of a genuine Havana-seed wrapper grown by the Oliva family on the aluvial plains at the foot of the Cotuguay Mountains in the Guayas tobacco-growing region of Ecuador. There, the special soil and climate are comparable to the famed Vinales Valley in the Pinar del Rio province in Cuba.

In a press release, Drew Newman commented: “We wanted to bring the essence of Cuba to consumers without breaking the bank. With larger sizes and convenient humi-bag packaging, all varieties of smokers will find something they like in Havana Q.”

Havana Q is sold in the same style of re-sealable 20 count humidor bags as Trader Jacks making them an easy to grab-n-go item. The cigar comes in four different sizes: Double Grande (6 x 60), Double Robusto (5 x 56), Double Toro (6 x 54), and Double Churchill (7 x 52). Manufactured at the El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida, this cigar is available today at Phillips & King.
